In Candler, NC on Beaverdam Creek in sight of Pisgah Mountain less than fifteen minutes from downtown Asheville nestled in a lush green valley lies Jake's Farm. We practice a system of growing without animal manures. All our fields are drip irrigated. Our eleven acres in production grow over two hundred varieties of heirloom and specialty vegetables for the discriminating chef and for families . During the summer we sell at the Black Mountain Tailgate Market and the new Asheville City Market on Saturday mornings. Our product is available year round from Carolina Organic Growers at the WNC Farmer's Market and most recently a limited selection can be had at the Farmer's Fresh Market website for delivery in the Charlotte area.
